Our Story

Lanna Young has always had a heart for fashion. After earning her degree in Merchandising Management from Michigan State University, Lanna moved to Dallas and then to Chicago where she learned the ropes of the fashion industry at multiple retailers from Neiman Marcus and Sears to Men's and Jewelry specialty store chains.

Lanna and her husband Steve came home to Michigan in 2011 to raise their family. It was here that Lanna realized the need for a unique, boutique experience, and used her fashion expertise to bring contemporary collections right here to Grosse Pointe.

Savvy Chic Boutique opened in April of 2015 in Grosse Pointe Park, MI and moved to The Village of Grosse Pointe in 2017. For over five years, Lanna Young has hand-selected items to provide you with a special collection of affordable, on-trend fashion. Offering curated styles that empower individuality through fashion, and breathe life into your wardrobe.
